This series explores memory, childhood, and the feeling of being immersed in wild spaces. Liz Foster’s expressive abstract oil painting layers colour and gesture to evoke air, land, and the shifting sensations of being surrounded by nature. Welcome to my website — a small window into my work. I’m an abstract painter based near York, UK. My practice is process-led, exploring colour, gesture, and the interplay between control and intuition through oils and mixed media.
