Tuition & Mentoring

Throughout our lives as artists, it’s important to keep learning and pushing forward. I’ve been teaching drawing and painting for over twenty years — from leading a busy fine art department to running workshops for charities and community groups. Alongside my own painting practice, I offer one-to-one mentoring, professional practice sessions, and short courses. Mentoring can take place in person or online via Zoom. If you’d like to know more, just get in touch using the form below.

Painting Tuition

Tuition can be tailored to your requirements from one-to-one private sessions at my studio to workshops for a group of art students. With over twenty years experience I specialise in oil painting, as well as water-based paints and drawing media.

Please get in touch and we can discuss availability.

Artist Mentoring

I’ve enjoyed working with artists at various stages of their careers - from taking the very first steps in building a practice to reviewing progress further down the line. Mentoring is personal and tailored to the individual so please get in touch and we can see if we can work together.

Artist-to-artist mentoring allows for a broad understanding of the issues an artist faces in their career, from practical guidance on materials to accountability check-ins, goal setting, planning and reviews of your work. Because everything is tailored to the individual artist, mentoring can be combined with practical tuition sessions. Get in touch and let me know how I can help.
