Teaching & Mentoring

Throughout our lives as artists, it’s important to keep learning and pushing forward. I’ve been teaching drawing and painting for over twenty years — from leading a busy fine art department to running workshops for charities and community groups. Alongside my own painting practice, I offer one-to-one mentoring, professional practice sessions, and short courses. Mentoring can take place in person or online via Zoom. If you’d like to know more, just get in touch using the form below

Teaching

Teaching can be tailored to your requirements from one-to-one private tuition at my studio to workshops for a group of art students. With over twenty years experience I teach across oil painting, water-based paints and  drawing.

Please get in touch and we can discuss availability.

Mentoring

I’ve worked with artists at various stages of their careers - from taking the very first steps in building a practice to reviewing progress further down the line. Mentoring is very personal and tailored to the individual so please get in touch and we can see if we can work together.

Mentoring can include accountability check-ins, goal setting, reviews, art-business planning, project ideas as well as discussions around your painting and drawing practice.
