Works on Paper: The Space Between
The Space Between is a series of abstract watercolours that investigates colour, repetition and pattern. Each work is composed of many small sections where colours interlock and sit alongside one another, allowing subtle shifts and tensions to define composition and form. The series explores how negative space and the intervals between marks become as significant as the marks themselves. The "spaces between" act as a pause. The result is a body of work that is meditative and dynamic—colour functioning both as subject and architecture.
