Art Courses and Workshops in York
I teach drawing and painting classes in and around York, from beginners to professional artists. Some of my courses are offered through York Learning - though I also run private groups and work with other organisations to provide a range of fine art courses. Oil Painting Workshop
27th June | 10am - 3pm
York Steiner School, Fulford, York, Y010 4PB
This is a one day workshop for artists and students of all abilities. Painting in oils, we’ll work observationally from a still-life arrangement of natural forms and plants. All materials can be provided for an additional £5 payable on the day. Liz will take you through technical skills of using oils as well as focusing on exploring colour, mark-making and composition. This workshop is hosted by the York Steiner School - please get I touch if you have any access enquiries.

One-to-One Painting Tuition

Tailored tuition for artists and students, centred around drawing and painting. I offer tuition and support in developing your own practice with a focus on oil painting, water-based paints and drawing media. If you’re wanting a bespoke workshop, or support in building your practice then please get in touch. One to one sessions are designed to support you at whatever stage you’re at.

Monoprint Drawing

Come and spend time at my studio, just outside York, learning one of my favourite techniques - monoprint drawing. I’ll show you the principles of monoprinting with a focus on the experimental drawing techniques and mark making that inform my own practice. All materials are provided.
£100 for a two hour session (up to 2 students)
