My studio is a single story, ground floor building - forming part of a farm building complex. It’s accessed directly from a pavement outside.
There is free parking on-site adjacent to the studio and room to leave a bike.
Sugar Hill Farm is on a main bus route (840) and a short walk up a single track lane from the main road.
There are ground floor WCs a short walk outside from the studio. These facilities are basic but clean - unfortunately, they’re not fully accessible due to the layout of the building.
If you have any enquiries about access then don’t hesitate to get in touch - I’m happy to provide more detailed information as required.

I’m a professional artist who splits their time between studio practice and teaching.
I have a BA (hons) and MA in Fine Art (Painting) and i’ve been working in the arts and art education for 30 years. I’m also a qualified adult eduction tutor.
My own work informs how I teach but I’m also interested in the wider context of painting and helping others develop their practice in whatever style or subject matter that might be.
I’ve exhibited across the UK, and sell directly via open studios and online.
You can read more about me on my About page, or drop me an email.

My workshops are relaxed and self-paced - I’ll take you through all the equipment and materials you’ll be using.
You’ll have the opportunity to create several experimental sketches as well as a larger painting.
There will tea breaks and a lunch break - where you can either pop out or stay at the studio.
